Writer, Teacher and the Ethos of Hills in her work: Mamta Joshi

"As I walked closer, the view was much clearer. The slender jagariya sang and swayed before the sacred dhuni, (fire) invoking the mountain spirits. A bewitched crowd watched as he mumbled “O divine guru, mother, father, in this redolent, evocative evening, only your name sustains us". These few lines from her recent work which was published in www.museindia.com , will make you instantly read her story that revolves around Kathgodam.
